The gift of a blood donation helped save the life of Emily Stephenson.

Your blood donations help kiddos like Emily Stephenson (pictured) who just turned 3 in February. Since her birth, Emily has received at least 20 blood transfusions – nearly one for every month of her life. Emily is dependent on blood transfusions because she was born with a genetic blood disorder called spherocytosis, which destroys her red blood cells and causes severe anemia.
