Good vs. Bad Cholesterol
Cholesterol is a natural compound created by the body and is vital to survival. However, too much intake from your diet can be a danger to your cardiovascular system.
This is mainly due to the fact that cholesterol can't dissolve in the blood. It must be transported through your bloodstream by carriers called lipoproteins, which are a special type of protein made of fat (lipids).
